What is an Apprenticeship and what does it have to offer?

Apprenticeships offer an educational learning alongside on-the-job experience and training. Finding the right apprenticeship for you is critical and will take time and effort on your part. Apprentices will work with people who have been in the industry for a long time and will therefore benefit from their expertise and knowledge and participate fully in the mechanics of the business. Combining study with skills and knowledge in a sector is an excellent way to ensure that you are gaining experience that will develop and expand throughout the course.

Apprentices stand out from others as they have a wealth of experience in their given sector. During this time, apprentices are paid which has the additional advantage of cutting out the worry and concern of student debt.

“Here at Niche, I have developed and learnt skills I never knew I was able to do. I started my apprenticeship 9 months ago, during these 9 months I have developed in all types of areas such as, Photoshop skills where I have developed images to be used in promotion, blogs, social media posts and SEO. I have learnt how to use the CRM System and develop my skills in database cleansing, which is getting correct contact details, filling in gaps and finding decision makers.  Personally, to say 9 months ago, I did not know what I wanted to progress in, I have found my passion in IT and Marketing. I create weekly blogs for the website, scanning and printing is also a integral part of my job role. An Apprenticeship is a perfect opportunity for yourself to progress within your skills and capability and to find a passion that you can enjoy. I feel I have become a lot more confident and independent within my apprenticeship.”
