We obtained some information from our partner, Westcoast who informed us to communicate this important message to our customers in the public sector who are more likely to take this new version of Window 11 due to Microsoft Teams and better virtual desktop support.

On 31st Aug, Microsoft announced that Windows 11 will start to be rolled out from Oct 5, 2021, on all eligible Windows 10 PCs & PCs that come pre-loaded with Windows 11 will start to be come available for purchase.

Some key highlights of this release include;

• The new design and sounds are modern, fresh, clean, and beautiful, brining you a sense of calm and ease.
• Chat from new Microsoft Teams integrated into the taskbar – providing a faster way to connect to your colleagues and those you care about.
• Windows 11 is optimised for speed, efficiency & improved experiences with touch, digital pen & voice input.
• Windows 11 is the operating system for hybrid work, delivering new experiences that support how you work, are secure by design and easy and familiar for IT to deploy and manage.
